At Iceberg Interactive we publish independent video games from all over the world. That means we find them, fund them, manage them, test them, localise them, market them, hype them, share them, distribute them, sell them – and sometimes, we even play them! It’s a lot of work, that’s why we’re looking for a new intern to help us on our marketing team.
What will you be doing?
As Content & Community Assistant, you will work closely with the Community Manager to spread the word about our games through (mostly) digital channels. From recording and editing footage for TikTok to writing the perfect tweet, you will be involved in all aspects of content creation. Aside from creating content, you will be a point of contact for our players along with the Community Manager, monitoring social media and our Discord servers.
Apart from your day-to-day tasks, you’re free to pitch your own ideas and projects. Have a radical idea for a Discord contest? Want to do cringy Fortnite dances on our TikTok? There are no bad ideas! The role is suited to people who aren’t afraid to let their creative juices flow.
Beyond marketing, you will get to spend time testing new games and helping to assess potential new projects with our production and business development team, gaining valuable insight into the complete process of creating, marketing and releasing an indie video game.
