Publishing Producer Intern
Internship
Are you passionate about games and looking for a bachelor-and-up level internship? Well, stick around. We’ve got something for you!
Who are “we”?
Iceberg Interactive is an international video games publisher located in Haarlem. We work closely with development teams from all over the world and sell our games predominantly through digital platforms, including Steam, EPIC Games Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and Nintendo eShop.
About the position
As a Publishing Producer Intern, you’ll work closely with our Producers and test games primarily for PC. You’ll also help the Business Development Director review potential new games for our future lineup. This position gives you a great impression of the games industry’s production, development, and publishing processes.
Some of the things you’ll be helping out with:
- Test games, DLCs, patches, and updates
- Help review potential new games
- Writing short assessments of in-development builds and milestones
- Tracking and documenting bugs
- Brainstorm about solutions to game design problems
- Play a bunch of games
What we have to offer:
- A very informative internship with a lot of daily variety (four to six months, 40 hours a week)
- An international work environment
- Good counselling and the amount of responsibility that suits you
- An informal and relaxed atmosphere
- Lots of freedom for your own initiatives and solutions
- Your name will be in the credits of all the games you’ll work on
- A compensation of €400,- a month
What we’re looking for:
- You’re a second or third-year HBO/WO (bachelor’s and up) student. We don’t do graduation internships.
- You play games. Indie, AAA, casual; the wider your field of interest, the better.
- You know your way around Steam.
- You’re interested in the industry behind the games: the people, the business, and how games are made.
- You work accurately, have an opinion, and aren’t afraid to share it.
- You have good written and conversational English.
- Your educational direction is Game Design/Development/Interaction Design/Media Studies, or anything relevant to this internship and company.
- You are available five days a week (40 hours) during your internship (with the exception of a day here and there that you need to report back to school).
- You reside in the Randstad. We want our interns to be able to come to the office during the internship; we don’t offer a remote internship.
The duration of this internship is 5 months and starts in September 2025. Interested? Email your CV, cover letter, and a link to your Steam Profile to Lea van Luit at internship@iceberg-games.com. Be sure to set your Steam Profile (temporarily) to public so that we can view your profile.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
